Sol campbell had to go feed his fast food addiction, hes so big and fat and slow.

Classic from Man U, fergie is starting to lose it in less important games.

Newsflash a Man U player would have done the same (if the it was 4-3 to Man U at Old Trafford) gone down injured hoping to get the player sent off and waste time, but its gods given right to Man U to win everything. :p

I'm trying to avoid being offensive, but there's no need to state the blindingly obvious.

A bad result for us tonight, especially after the other results.

Our defence was abysmal tonight, we've no options at all at the moment and it could be even worse if Campbell is dropped now, since I don't know what happened when he walked out.

Roll on 2006/7.

It's not only campbell, it's gilberto pires and freddie too. How can most of our key players simultaneously get so rubbish?!?!? ARGH!! So annoying :(

Know why he left early yet?

Because he's a **** ;)

Wenger said he took him off. And he felt gulity about the goals.
He was 200% at fault for the first goal, and the second goal he dived in, actually made a good block, and Zamora hit a great finish. I still think he should have done better at the outset. Too right he should feel gulity.

IMO if Campbell can't be arsed to watch the second half then he should never play for the club again. He's cost us at least 3 results in the last 4 games.

If Sol doesn't find form and does **** off any chance of us qualifying in the CL or standing any chance against R.Madrid will go as well. We should get behind him now even though he is a dirty yid ;) As we will only get worse if he doesn't find any form soon. Cygan is poor and Senderos is no better tbh. Us not having 3 of our back 4 is only making our situation worse.

I think I'd want to go home after that first half as well tbh but he should have stayed at least until the game was over. I understand he is down but get behind the team FFS! Ever since he was dropped for England he has got worse and worse, needs to get England out of head and worry about Arsenal.

A quote from Fergie after tonights game:-

'I think our performance was terrific but mistakes at the back cost us.'

Stevie Wonder could see that mistakes cost us, but to describe that display as 'terrific'!!? Time for the retirement home Fergie!

Rio was unlucky but ultimately stupid to have got sent off.The first should have been a card becouse it was just childish petulance, pushing Pederson over when he was trying to get up  The second would have been nothing if he hadn't just been carded a minute before.Silly boy

The Brum player was very harshly given a str red against 'pool tho imho, yellow at worst - he was trying to get out of the challenge

no one talking about man c vs toon? im sick of souness

Your not the only one.

Last night he fielded a weakend team , playing 4-4-2.
In the second half , at 2-0 down , he brought on Luque and Solano , played 5 in midfield and left a old man up front on his own.

Cluelesss.

We are in serious relegation trouble , make no mistakes about that.
To be fair to Souness though , he has only had £50m to spend on a squad that finished top 6 , 3 seasons running.

"I'm not quitting ... I'm a big boy ... thats the price on the ticket ... my family is the most important thing ... we've had loads of injuries ... Boumsong is better than Baresi .... yap, yap, yap!"

Peddle the useless knacker now.

Campbells confidence is so so low at the moment. It was evident from the amount of times he was out muscled and knocked to the ground. Sol is easily one of the strongest/best built players in the game and often takes a tractor to knock him down, however last night I can recall several challeneges where he was EASILY outmuscled and pushed down to the floor.

I think mainly its because our defensive line-up has been so messed up this season. He's the eldest in there, and probably feels the guidance of the younger players is down to him. Also he players nearest the left side, which cant help at all when you have the likes of Cygan covering your left back position.

It's a shame, I love Sol because at his best hes everything the perfect defender should be. Get him some 1on1 sessions with Keown; hopefully that'll sort him out :D

Was he trying to get out of it when he put his put his other foot in as well essentially making it two footed?

It wasn't a good challenge by any stretch, just didn't think it merited a str red,but i didn't see the game live so maybe he'd had a warning before or something ? I know i'd have been gutted if one of our players had a red for that if the roles were reversed.
