**Middle Earth :Shadow of Mordor Bench Thread**

To be fair I brought it up but that's because I'd rather play at say 40-70 fps with GSYNC than 50-90 without it. I think that's a given for anyone who's tried it but as usual shankly with no experience of it whatsoever thinks it has no benefit. Just look at some of the minimums in the benchmarks.

I would post some scores for the red team but the drivers for multi GPUs are absolutely dreadful.

I am not even going to waste my time reporting it to AMD. There is no excuse for not testing on 290X quadfire, it is not like they can not get hold of the cards lol.

Man who doesn't use G-Sync seems to know more about it than those of us who do....

Best leave that one alone Shanks and can we get the thread back on topic please guys. Remember this is the bench thread and regardless of scores, don't turn it into a mud slinging contest please :)

I imagine things will change once NV get an SLI profile sorted out, as well as optimize single card performance.
Hopefully, AMD do the same at some point.

The games popped up on my geforce experience thing now and recommends the settings I already had selected for optimal, which I actually agree with (everything on highest apart from texture quality, which is set to high instead of ultra - HD pack installed). So far though, still no SLI profile, judging from my nvidia CP. I guess it won't be far off though due to the GE profile popping up.

Jeezo..

Can we all stop the absolutely child like squabbling about who's card is bigger than the next guys.. Who really gives two monkeys...

Can we get back on topic please.

Thanks

That's what I thought. I don't think 'card' really came into it

While I'm here:

It's 'whose'.

On phone so spell checker kicked in.

For those on AMD crossfire, try using the batman origins crossfire profile.

On average it gave me an extra 15fps on the benchmark.

Went from AMD getting good rep to Nvidia coming in and starting silly stuff to a flame war and now Gsync. Where'd the benchmarks go LOL.

Just tried it.
It makes the menus less flickery, but GPU usage is down to 50-60% and my bench score goes from 163 to 84 fps.

Using AFR friendly gets 99-100% usage and much higher frames. Still get the odd bit of flickering ingame either way.

That isn't how it happened at all, a couple of us pointed out discrepancies in results then shankly decided to make it an AMD vs NVIDIA thread with this post:

Benchmark would be a waste when Nvidia is getting smashed :D other way around though things would be different.

My post on GSYNC was just pointing out it isn't all doom and gloom for Greg with the lowest fps as GSYNC more than makes up for it. Shankly then had a go again saying it has no benefit.

Shanks I would genuinely do yourself a favour and stop bringing up GSync as it's pretty clear to those of us who've done our home work you don't understand it at all. Plus it's not relevant at all.

You might want to read back and see I wasn't first to bring it up.
Have read, next time thanks in advance.

Guys we've shifted the gsync discussion to the gsync thread. If you want to address anything said in this thread on gsync, go to that thread and just quote your post in here instead please.
