Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor

I was using keyboard as controls and their was a finisher with LSHIFT + Left click. Does any one know what this finisher is on the xbox pad? (Not execute)

The one you use if they're down on the ground? Just a ground execute isn't it?

EDIT: LSHIFT + LMB is also used when stealthing to drop down onto an enemy.
 
Anyone seeing save game bugs with this? I've been playing for a few days, got about half way through and finally did the Sword Legends mission "Into the Pit", but it's not registered as completed.

I didn't see the animation for completed the mission, but the icon is gone from the map so I can't retry the mission, and the sword is still listed as having only four legends completed.

Is there any way to edit the save file to make the mission complete or to reset it so I can do it again?
 
My god this game is fun! Having just come from Divinity: Original Sin it's massive change of pace and it's fantastic. Took a few hours to get to grips with it, now I know what's going on I'm really enjoying it. Probably my favourite part is the revenge missions where you get Orcs who have killed your Steam friends pop up in your game for you to kill
 
Well I tried this, but found it to be quite dull tbh. Graphics ok, story not hugely engrossing, camera incredibly annoying. Hmm, was expecting more from the reviews.

It is pretty dull tbh. Fun for a short while but incredibly shallow.

Only the Nemesis system really makes it worth playing imo.
 
Anyone know if there are plugins/fixes for playing on 21:9? The screen seems to be very zoomed in on the player character...
 
Bringing this back to the surface as it were to ask if anyone has a save game they can send me? I was about 1/2 way through the second zone having done a couple of the hunting missions with the gruff Scottish Dwarf Hunter and perhaps the first of the queens visions. Unfortunately I had to format my C drive after Windows 10 would stop loading halfway through boot saying it couldn't my C drive. O.o

I believe it saves the games in My Documents\WB games.

Trust me if you have one as I don't fancy playing from scratch again.
 
I have mine as a steam cloud save, if you have any idea how to get it let me know and i'll zip it up for you..

It is at 100% complete for main story..

I feel your pain, I screwed up my steam folder, and lost all my saves to this and other games.

My saves are not in the folder My Documents\WB games, its just the settings.
 
I won't soon forget how well you can play this game with keyboard and mouse. I hate how other games just throw in an xbox legend and expect you to figure it out. Their loss.
 
Enjoying this so far, but there's a really annoying problem where it'll suddenly switch from my xb360 pad to kb/mouse with no way to switch back :mad:.

Tried my XB360 pad and my XBone pad and its the same with both, so must be a problem with the game. Anyone had the same issue or know of a fix?
