***Midweek Football 24th Feb***

I said Inter were the better team as well.

It's obvious Chelsea need to be better next leg as they are currently losing

Yes, because Terry would have taken the penalty...

My point is you're pessimistic about everything Chelsea do.

The way Kalou dived as he went down, big deal? It was still a penalty.

The way Inter were the much better team?

Highlighting the possibility of Chelsea missing the penalty instead of scoring...

Can you understand why that frustrates me?

Roflcopter :D

Then you really have no reason to get comment on me being "pessimistic" about Chelsea? We have said the same thing? Except I'm being "pressimistic".

Or next time Chelsea play would you like me to whip my willy out and touch myself over them?

I never said it wasn't a pen :) I said his dive amused me.

Highlighting the possibility of Chelsea scoring the pen instead of missing? roflcopter.

What? Did you even read what I put :o I said you agreed with me on the points you picked me up on but were being ridiculously pessimistic about other situations.

Getting your willy out? No thanks.

Here's an example for you.

1.That should have have been a penalty and Inter would be down to 10 men, lol at the dive though = Normal reply

2.Penalty but he probably would have missed it and ROFL at the dive. = Tummy Reply

See the distinction? Just being annoyingly pessimistic. Number 2 would be the kind of response I've come to expect from you.

You really don't like anyone saying ANYTHING even remotely negative about Chelsea ;)

very slight advantage chelsea. of the english clubs United are best placed but even that could still go either way. Oddly i think they'll all go through though.

Just finished watching the Palace match... absolutely gutted! That ref was awful! Missed so much! BOTH goals (First Palace goal and first Villa goal) shouldn't have been allowed. (Palace - Lee shouldn't have got the pen due to slappage :p & Villa - Shouldn't of got the corner)

And then Lawrence goes all hell***** crazy and lets two penalties away... :(

You see when you asked me "did you even read what I said" I think you need to take your own advice :)

Next time I'll add some more :p :p for you to make my sarcasm a bit more obvious Gussy ;)

The dive amused me, I didn't rofl, it raised a smile, nor did I say he "proabbly" would have missed it ;) I said that "people do miss pens" :)

Don't jump to conclusions and don't be so ****y.

SupercalifragilisticRomanPavlyuchenko
He may not be Gascoigne but he's better than Shevchenko
Just before a game he put some vodka in his Kenco
SuprcalifragilisticRomanPavlyuchenko!

:D Brilliant. Hopefully now Redknapp will feel he has to start him in league games alongside Defoe, because Crouch doesn't do anything.

You WERE choosing to HIGHLIGHT the possibility of Chelsea missing the penalty.

You WERE being unnecessarily pessimistic. Who watches a game of football and thinks ah the penalty decision doesn't matter, he might missed it...

Oh wait, that would be you...

Can't be doing with you anymore Tummy, one to add to the ignore list which I'm sure you'll quote and stick one of your smiley faces alongside some witty response.

I was being sarcastic ;) Read things better, and don't be so ****y about everything :)

It's so much fun to wind you up Gussy :D

Just ignore him Tummy...shame GIMP isnt here to wind him something chronic:p...its always good reading when GIMP winds him up:D

Good result for Inter...couldnt help but laugh a bit when the final whistle went...Mourinho sticking it to Chelski:p.

Wow Stoke really sticking it to Man City...not looking forward to when Arsenal play them as they tend to play against us very well....lol at Mancini...looks like all that money they have thrown at players still isnt getting them very far:p.

Wasn't winding me up, it was Tummy being his usual self and then choosing to claim that he is 'winding' me after I had got my point across.

Good result for Inter eh, guess I could say the same for Porto.

Indeed, haven't City statistically been worse since they sacked Hughes?

No, better I saw a thing that said something along the lines of 1.88 points for Mancini and 1.7 for Hughes, but comparing who Mancini lost to and his run of wins to start against some woeful sides skewing the results a lot. City were HUGELY better under Hughes, immensely. Mancini is a moron, he played Petrov who got one goal, then persisted with him despite him being woeful game after game, finally dropped him, Barry is still playing, though he shouldn't and Ade is anything but a lone striker but he keeps playing 4-5-1 which isn't working.

AFAIK they have Mancini on a sane contract where he's quite cheap to fire compared to Chelsea/Liverpool manager saking issues, so at least they showed a little sanity there.

I still say its a disgrace giving Hughes a 70 point target and firing him with one game to go to the half way stage, with 32 points, so he was right on target and had a nice run of easy games to go. Considering the team needed time to gel and Tevez needed time to get his game back, had they kept with Hughes they'd have likely had a stronger second half to the season and finished 5-6 points ahead of their 70 point target.

hughes had his problems though, saw Petrov was awful but had a blind spot for SWP and Barry.
