Utd should have performed better in the 2nd half, we need to control games better (esp at home) 2-0 in the first half wouldnt have been good enough against a better /more attacking team

Saying that - its 3 points we didnt get last season, and therefore comparing the Everton and WH results compared to last season we have gained a point, so isnt all that bad

(Im sure there is a way to look at it negatively also.......waits for atpx )

I only managed to watch the first half of the Arsenal - Tottenham game, and have only just seen the final details. It reminds me of a game I saw between them at Highbury in the 50s. Arsenal were cruising 4-2 ahead with just a few minutes left. An Arsenal defender gave away a completely needless penalty, and then Bobby Smith got the equaliser with seconds remaining.

I'm now looking forward to catching the highlights on MOTD.

tbh I think Wenger made an error with the 3 subs towards the end of the game.

Both wingers and the man in the hole off, left the team with no outs to waste time and go into the corners.

Also I thought Ade was a waste of space tonight, really bad performance from him.

Yep, Very good result tonight. What (i think it was Diop) was doing for our penalty is beyond me.

Really missing Torres now, Cannot wait to get him back in on Saturday (Hopefully ) and really push on.

Spurs lost me £60, apart from that. Chuffed.

Awesome result that, spurs will be knackered by saturday, and will still go down, that keeper is ****ing awefull, Harry needs to get some backbone into that side, mind so does Wenger.

I think one thing Ramos sorted out was the fitness of Spurs, so I'm not too worried. Hopefully King will be back on Saturday too. You still think Spurs will go down? There is no such thing as a team that is too good to go down, but if Spurs can play with an ounce of their ability then we should be looking for a top10 finish.

Gomes doesn't inspire confidence though! A tenacious player is number 1 on our short list and I imagine another striker not far behind.

However the first time he didn't come for a ball and trusted the defence to it Arsenal scored their 3rd with about 6 Spurs players around Gallas. Some cracking goals though, Surely Bentley's has to be top of charts so far for goal of the season?

I've felt for a while now that King has been and still is your biggest problem defensively. You just have to look at all the top sides and they all have settled cb pairings where as you're changing yours every other week when King's fit.

It may seem harsh but imo your best bet is getting rid of him.

I was just thinking that, he wasn't that far off his line and I'm surprised he didn't get more of a hand on it, not to take anything away from Bentley's strike.
