Midweek Football Spoilers 28/29th Oct

There is a possibility arsenals back 4 could become frances back 4 this season

Only needs silvestre to get back in the international frame
... nice thought for France as "tooothless" Spurs put 4 past them at home :p
3 - 1 Game over :)
:D
LOL Clichy slips and its 4 - 3. Jammy Spuds all 3 of their goals.
Jammy Spuds???

I think all of yours were "gifts" either from us or the ref
This.

Now that we haven't the players to cover up Wenger's retardedness on the tactical front we're being found out. Big style.
Contender for most embarrassing knee jerk post of the year? :p

Maybe not. Wenger after the match said that we perhaps wanted to keep the result a little too much, became cautious and didn't continue to attack for more goals.

It's left me in shock to be quite honest. HOW can he say that after making the subs he did!? The guy can be a real idiot sometimes, he really can.

Talking of bookies, I done a multiple bet of arsenal, man utd, liverpool, ac milan and napoli to win. I would have won 80 quid, cheers Arsenal.

Bentley's was jammy on that a lot of people thought the keeper should have done better. Though perhaps credit to him, as Almunia's had at that point been no mug and there clearly was an element of surprise about it. Also, lets face it, considering how talented Bentley is, it really is a one off. Your second was a total gift from our keeper. Your third was a gift from when Clichy fell over. Your fourth was deflected, hit the post, and fell wonderfully to a Spurs player.

Arsenal's equaliser and the second one was Silvestre getting to the ball very early from the corner and a good header by Gallas respectively.

Adebayor's wasn't a gift, RvP's was.

You had a lot of luck today compared to us.

We've known how poor tactically Wenger is for ages. As said above, in previous years he's had the players/teams to cover for this. Now we don't. It's not a knee jerk reaction, it's something we're now seeing too often. 4/10 games. Not good.

Unlucky fella. How much did you lay?

Thankfully I decided to leave three minutes early, so I missed the farce at the end, or there could have been a possibility of me losing my season ticket, due to excessive foul language.:mad:

I really can't believe that result, I thought that spurs were pretty dire for the majority of the match, no real idea, poor passing and I thought we'd run out fairly easy winners, especially when we went 3 - 1 up.

Why Diaby wasn't thrown on instead of Eboue is beyond me, we should have kept at them and might have increased our lead.

Gutted, very very angry and extremely let down, not happy.

I put £20 at 3.90 =£78 if it came through. Seems to be the way lately mate, one team letting me down.

The number of times that my mates say to me "ahh I was one game away from £x after putting on an accumulator" is quite high. It's as you say always one match.

Gotta be honest with you when I say I would have been delighted if you'd won that £78.

Well I saw you getting an incredible amount of 50/50's in your favour from the ref which were backed up by replays. Leading to goals and your 2nd was a total gift from Gomes the clown...?

...as for the other two from Hutton??? PLEASE?????? might aswell as walked them into the net himself.

All I can say is he's already a legend at your club... greatest ever? and you're slagging him off??

...that is all....

I already admitted RvP's was a gift.

I disagree with the fouls. Both in that they were as hard as the challenges we got and that having a goal several passes later. Sorry, well, it's not like you don't have time to recover and regain possession now is it?

We're slagging him off because he's seemingly blind to what the rest of us can see. Also don't forget that greatest ever managers at clubs coincide with those that serve the longest ;)
