No idea what just happened to Gomez, jumped, landed, was fine now injured, maybe just wants an early night and realises theres no threat, just Brown's proudness to have been in for real strikers, doesn't actually have any on the pitch though.
Have to say its also a touch early to instantly brand Nani and Valencia as stronger wingers than Giggs and Park. Nani's completely unproven and to be honest, so's Valencia, being good preseason against weak teams with no pressure is a different ballgame. Valencia didn't really show anything at the weekend at all, neither did Nani. Giggs got more assists and maybe goals than Valencia last season playing what I assume to be considerably less.

He really is a fantastic player, deserves a shot at playing in the prem league, was just superb in their cup run last year, ran games where Burnley dominated against several big prem teams.
