Midweek Football Thread. Champions League. 29/30 *spoliers*

Olympiakos weren't just second best - but they really didn't bother leaving their half and were rubbish with possession.

Very happy we eventually won, but annoyed that this once again proves our finishing is terrible, our team lacks the patience of Wenger's older team, and that Diaby isn't good enough.

Sucks. Considering the other scores right now

seems for the biggest game of our league season we're going to have a total of 4 main players out :(

Higgs, crowe, snodgrass, possibly bromby

sucks balls!!

EDIT: well at least we're 3 points ahead of charlton, i guess if we lose we should stay top

In fairness, it was difficult to get decent shots off when every striker had about three opposition players on them at any one moment. I'm more concerned with some of our poor attempts to clear/play the ball forward when we won it back in defence. Twice I saw Arshavin try to dribble past what was probably their attacking midfielder, only to lose it, and we often looked to pass it too hurriedly.

Dominated the 2nd half; should have had a goal and a penalty but our first half performance and wasted chances in the 2nd have cost us.
