YES
Good morning all.
*snip*
haha tefal, nice cliffs, i'm revving the bulldozer![]()
why?
You can make so many awesome things into the scenery rather than just a dull flat square.
Rail station/shop or the town hall suspended under the big over hang with glass walls + floor (aside from working areas) to fit in with the glass tubes for rail paths, bank/ some other major building could be built into the remains of the water filled cave as it's mined and expanded (maybe a communal storage facility or furnace/workshop room.)
Player houses can be nestled into nooks in the cliffs and built to blend in/accentuate the soundings.
Maybe a community S1 eden project style thing turning that water fall and pond into a nice garden/feature, expand the arch into a decorative bridge etc.
Rather than just bulldozing it all and having 20 bland cubes.
Any votes that have any other text will be void if you want to put a reason for your vote then do it in a second post.
i never use the spawn area as it's cluttered and claustrophobic, i don't know what direction my buildings are in and i don't know what any of the buildings around me are for and i don't know what is in each direction
But no one can use the buildings in your spawn plan for the simple reason they can't mine there.
With the houses that close together people can't really dig down without running into each other or if you put a depth limit in then again they can't mine.
So after the first day when people realise this you'll be left with a collection of abandoned half finished wooden/cobblestone cubes that'll end up deleted or as mob spawners as people quickly leave to start their mines.
