Minecraft - Unable to Connect to Server

We have identified a bug in the server which will cause it to appear to be running yet will refuse player connections.

It appears the server gets itself into a partially shutdown state and the only way to resolve this is to force restart it.


So if you are unable to connect to your minecraft server, a restart from Clanforge may well fix the problem.

Minecraft - Saving, Player Inventories etc

After some investigation it seems that player inventories and potentially position are stored client side and as such if the server or player crashes before leaving the server then inventory changes will be lost.

Obviously this is not something we can do anything about but wanted to let everyone know this useful piece of info :)


In addition to the changes last night we have just been testing with some customers and have confirmed that worlds to seem to be saving as expected on restart, but if anyone believes they still have an issue please let us know.

iNPUT you are now on the white list

maxilive as far as I understand next week the host is going to make changes to the clanforge that will let customers access there own worldsave files for download so I will wait till then.

Finally got round to putting in some time on this today and am being a bit selfish and just gathering stuff for myself to get myself setup. Then I can offer assistance later :)

Noticed that the main parts had been pretty much claimed and well farmed so I buggered off to a far corner of the map which hasn't been touched.

Inside right at the bottom in it's a network of corridors with 2 block gaps to find everything within a 100 sq radius. Just currently building up the floors and working my way to the top.

Compass is there showing the direction if you wanna try and find it :)
 
You might want to move those furnaces apart, we had a lot of trouble losing loads from furnaces that were right next to eachother when we were working on the parthenon.
