If you step outside GD this forum is actually interesting. I've learnt a lot from the Cuisine and Home/Garden forums!

I think that's where the perception of "decline" comes from all those threads used to be in GD so to people who don't go into those sections it looks like all the good stuff has finished leaving the generic dross
