Mistakes of this console generation

Sorry I was going to add a tongue smilie after my sentence. I wasn't bitching. :)

If they made it like a mobile phone battery and you couldn't put AAs in there. I think I wouldn't have a problem. If it meant I could buy a spare and keep it in a bag just in case that would be handy.

I hate mobile phones btw lol. I hate most technology.

True, it wouldn't have hurt to have a little flap, so you could have a spare controller battery or whatever. But, saying that, mobile phone batteries cost what, somewhere around the £20 mark? I'd rather (and did) use the money to buy a second controller instead, a DS3.

Just make sure you keep ONE of them charged, or take both to your mates! ;)

As a PS3 owner:
1) The heat problem is an issue. The ventilated cabinet it sits in isn't enough and I have to keep the doors open while its playing.
2) All the pre-rendered crap we get shown in the run-up to launch and even after launch. I remember an E3 vid for F1 and getting a little excited. The actual game's gfx are pretty lame and not much beyond previous gen.
3) In fact no games have really blown me away - COD4 and Ratchet & Clank were okay but textures seem really flat.
4) The USB cable could be much longer imo.
5) All the confusion about which version to buy and PS2 compatibilty.
6) 1080P is actually cobblers where games are concerned and lower res games are simply upscaled.
6) Everything about this generation seems rushed.
