OK as it stands right now i have my system set up with dual boot, Win 7 x64 on C (WDC WD 6400AAKS) and a D drive (WDC WD 7501AALS) both are WD Black mechanical drives, now over the next few months i'd like to replace the 2 OS drives with the newer SSD drives, i don't need these drives to be that big as i try to keep my drives as clean as possible, for example my C drive only has basic apps like AV/malware/burning software etc just the basic to get me out of trouble if my main D drive goes down (C has 50GB on it, and D drive has 70GB on it).
Money is not great so i suspect i'll be replacing them one at a time, is that a good idea or should i hold of longer and buy both at same time, I am happy to pay a bit more for some decent kit with a decent warranty, I do love my WD stuff but i think i'm out of luck with them as there 128GB drive came in at a stupid price.
Also will they work OK with my main board it's an older Asus p5e3 premium wifi-ap @n, and finally any good place to start reading about SSD's as i know some are great yet some are also pants and the last thing i want to do is buy crap.
