MM Access Worth It or Not?

So those who have access and still use the MM is it still popular. Getting the required amount of posts is a bit more time consuming than I anticipated

Before the rule change yes it was, I got a graphics card and a few other bits for the latest build and lots of stuff for the previous as well. Still one of the best places to purchase second hand components on the site. Always well looked after, always good prices and genuine sellers, much less scum bags compared to all the other platforms!

It's no different now the rule changes are in place. The only difference is that only loyal forum members can access it as opposed to it being pretty much publicly open.

Exactly this.

I've bought and sold a bunch on the MM and always had a great experience. While the prices are lower than you might get elsewhere, the ease and safety of sale are a huge part of why I favour it over other avenues.

The OP making a thread like this makes me wary, why not contribute to the community in a positive and healthy manner until you gain access? Asking if it's worth being part of the community for that benefit alone concerns me.

well I’ve been a member for over 12 years and I’ve brought on the MM a few times, I send my funds over and wait for the item to arrive so I’m not sure how that makes me a risky buyer/seller.

I am a huge lurker who prefers reading to posting

Like you, I used it a few times before the rule changes. I just wondered if the rule changes have had a negative effect on it. A few are wrongly assuming I’ve suddenly joined just to gain access to it.

You contribute little to the community but benefit from buying good cush. It isn't hard maths

If you want to read just stay as a guest. Don’t log in. It’s changed now and it’s not likely to be reversed anytime soon.

Alternatively post some good stuff for us to laugh at or help some people out with questions by answering them.
