If so, that was a bit of a dodgy overtake. I had Dup and his girlfriend in with me. Tupac was going for it and I don't think he realised I was overtaking as he didn't seem to let off until I was almost past him.

Glad you are ok - this is what happens with inexperienced people in fast cars with too much confidence - trust me, I've got that T Shirt as everyone on here knows. Perhaps a CTR after you've only been driving a year was not a good idea

Maybe so. As I said at the time, we were all out there enjoying the same day in the same manner at the end of the day and it wouldn't have been that big a deal except for that 2ft telegraph post that helped toss the car in the air. Could have been any of us tbh and I think everyone realised that.

Don't take the weather for granted, really easy to get caught with your pants down one handed.

Everyone dealt with it really well and thanks for sticking around and helping out guys, my drivers seat is still soaking.

I was thinking that myself, it was clear that Tupac hadn't seen you making the manouevre.

No, I was stood out in the rain for hours and then had to drive home soaked from the aist down. I was half tempted to whip my trousers off before I set off but rg-Tom and MrLOL were still there and they're a shifty pair

At least I didn't a Tim which was wait to get soaked then put my jaket on! Bet his seat is rather wet!

I wasn't driving it that hard imo. Afterall I only have 100-120hp

The seat was dry by the time I got home. A/C and recirc seemed to sort it pretty quickly.

Is it wrong that it hasn't bothered me at all? Well, apart from the exercise of running up the road while you lot jumped into your cars, I've seen worse things when bikers have had an off and as soon as Darryn was out on his feet I just went into mother mode.

It wasn't fun though. We all spend a good couple of hours stood in the pouring rain and wind without much waterproofing which is never nice and the instant through that you're gonna be dragging a body out of a car for those few moments is enough to make some people throw up. Thankfully, everyone kept the awesome pub dinner down
