Wow, that is a seriously good price. It's my dad's birthday in August and his iPhone 3G is struggling a bit so I might look at something like this for him.

I've just got one of these from Expansys for £192. Only got it today, but so far I love it!
 
Apparently there's a turn by turn navigation app for £3.99 that's rated at 4.5/5 on zune, just checking it out now.
 
i like the look of the new update, it could possibly pull me away from android, i almost got the missus to have a lg optimus 7 but she chose the wildfire s :(

am thinking the same.
my other half started to use my old hero as her phone died. she may get my DHD when I will be changing my mobile at end of the year.
If there will be nice choice of mobiles with windows then who knows...unless there will be no competition for Nexus Prime ;) and will stick to android...
 
I hope to god it doesn't force integrated social networking stuff on you like Facebook/Twitter, and the option to remove them is there. Looks like a damned nice phone.

Any word on battery life?
 
LG optimus E900 has better battery life than the Samsung Omnia 7, but the Samsung has a better (and bigger) OLED screen.

They use the same snapdragon 1ghz cpu as far as I know.

edit: LG has gorilla glass too.

They've just said fall so far but they're quite far along with developers getting access to it tomorrow. My guess is mango will rolled at the same time as the first Nokia phone is ready. If I'd have to guess I think they're aiming for September so not long now.
 
Well they've mentioned "the holidays" quite a lot so doesn't that usually mean just before thanksgiving, which is November I think? So maybe October rather than September. Either way I hope it is soon as I could really do with Skype some of the extra features on the phone... :p

EDIT: Also Angry Birds is out today... Probably won'tdownload it as I've played all the levels on the computer and there are loads of alternatives out already...
 
I really want to get a new phone and WM7 is appealing to me (still on WM6.1) but the one thing I cannot leave behind is time based messaging, all my inbox is sorted in date received order as I often talk to a few people about the same thing at the same time I don't want it grouped by person, is this still possible on WM7?

I think I know what you're asking. When you first go to messaging it shows all your texts, etc. in chronological order. You only go to a conversation when you then select a message.
 
Ordered an Optimus 7 today - I was using a Moto Flipout for work, but the screen is way too small, and it's a but quirky.

I'm hoping that Android for personal phone (GNS), and WP7 for work = win?

(Making the rather large baseless ignorant assumption that WP7 will have perfect exchange support :p)
