MMORPG's - how to quit?

I gave WoW up Christmas Day. Went cold turkey.

It's hard. Almost installed it twice. Spent most of today wishing I was cutting up murlocs. Not good.

I might go back. World of Warcraft ruined my degree though, i'll need some sort of restraint.

shard / sell delete all you items bags the lot, THEN give all your gold /items to guild bank or a friend THEN! delete all lvl 60's, thats how i done it

I got bored of WoW at about lvl 16

Then again nothing is like Ultima Online of old

To be honest the only way I can ever quit is to get rid of my main char. Be it deleteing or selling the account.

Noxis there will never be a UO replacement, but a few people run their own servers now useing all the old rulesets, free to play and it's just like it use to be.

I was thinking about getting this game, but this thread has kinda put me off, I already get a regular **********/AKA tellings off from the missus and thats for playing BF2 for an hour or so a night

Roll a rogue get it to 60 then try finding groups for high level items. Your own frustration will drive you away from the game.

there is a reason nobody wants rogues in high end instances.. they are useless, roll a decent class

im partially addicted in that i can go days without playing, but i think about it often.. and it does come above other hobbies which are better for me
