Mobile Banking Apps - Which bank has the best app?

Can't use Halifax app with Lineage OS android roms. I'm guessing many other bank apps are the same however

santander is the best just simply because it doesn't log you out if you leave the app. you have like 60 seconds of inactivity until you're logged out. which is great as sometimes i need to log in, check something on say my calendar, or take a call, or anything else, and then go back. all other apps require you to login again

Nationwide also doesn’t immediately log you out either.

Only used the Lloyds app and it does the job so I'm happy with it. Not going to switch banks because someone has a better app.

I prefer the Natwest app to Nationwide. I wasn't that impressed with Barclays when I set my Dad up on it.

Barclays app scores a few less points for me again. Now it doesn't work on my Dads Moto Z phone, just crashes.

RBS - Basic but does the job though no fingerprint login on Android.
Halifax - Pretty good. I like how you can confirm new payees just by logging in but again, no fingerprint login on Android.
Tesco - Seems a bit slow, transaction calendar is perhaps a little gimmicky.
Nationwide - Best all-round of the 4 I would say.

I use the Barclays App. Can't fault it. Easy to use.

What do you like about the Monzo app? I only have the prepaid card at the moment not a bank account so I haven't used the banking side yet.

The First Direct app is absolutely fine.

Halifax is normally great, however, the last few days it's become annoying, you log in, go to your transactions then suddenly it will swipe itself to Halifax saving tab! Annoying.
