The problem is the core game is actually excellent, it's just burdened with terrible crap like a worthless online system and imbalance.

I'm getting sick of players who keep on winning who get 30 kills but only died once. Another cheat i've notived lately is the hackers jumping high up on buildings and sniping ....

Just played with my friends a while ago. And they have both jumped up in scores one has prestiged the other has prestiged twice.
I asked how come you guys have gone up in score so fast, i only played with you yesterday.
They told me that they were in a server that gave them 50,000 points a kill or something like that.
now they do not hack/cheat but they did rank up very quickly because of that server.
has anyone come across such a thing before?

there was dunno if still do it a elevator glitch on care packages you basically jump up where it came down :eek:

you can do similar in cod 4 aswell but not known as much

as for fast rank glitches yes they are mostly onn free for all but the people will either get therre account reset like in cod 5 or banned for this.

I swore I wouldnt buy this game.

Then some of my mates bought it, and we were having a rest from CSS clan matches so I got it, and quite enjoyed it for 2-3 weeks.

Then somewhere along the line I realised how much I hated it

It mostly feels like I'm playing with 200 ping. The game is just spam spam and more spam.

As has been said, dedicated servers would have been so much better

Thankfully we're all back to CSS now

I found those videos entertaining and interesting, but i don't like COD Modern Warfare.

I searched for a 3rd party cage match game last night, it went right into a rust game with 18 odd people in the server, I killed the first person I across and it gave me 9 million something XP, I was instantly level 70 after 1 kill.

This was with no modification of my game, just using the default search it found someone's hacked server and how I've been bounced to 70 instantly, If valve bans me for this I'm going to be angry to say the least.

Just yesterday I came across the same thing. Some guy who had pirated the game and was using a loader, might have been a beta release from teknogods or something was fannying about with the console, changing maps mid-game and such and said "anyone wanna go to level 70" so I got straight out of there

I mus play with some of you guys sometime to see what all your fuss is about.
If so many people are cheating then i am lost for words
I agree that there are cheats but to think there are so many is ludicrous

I am seriously thinking you are so bad that you are using this MASS cheating as an excuse,

and you didnt think 18 people in a 2 player mode was odd to start with?

As for knowing what the game would be like before buying it, I do agree to an extent but as Robert says, I don't think anyone could envisage it being this bad. I mean, COD4 on the 360 was great, this is terrible, even worse on PC. Not to mention a single player that remains short in time span but still manages to feel like it's dragging on. The best part of this game is the Spec Ops mode.

I agree i bought lfd2 before mw2 by a few days - LFD2 is **** tbh its slow its boring. Its absolutely crap if your team-mates are 100% retards. Its seriously over hyped like this game

Is not a bad game, the cheaters and hackers pretty much ruined the game.
Normally, I just leave the game if someone is cheating.

I blame IW for not working hard enough to stop the cheating and hacking. I swear they made tons of money with mw2.

. As soon as they announced that they would not use dedicated servers I knew there were going to be cheaters and with no definite way of stopping them. At least with dedicated servers you have admins who also play the game and can keep an eye of things from time to time. If they see someone cheating they ban them, simple as that.

I don't care much for single player as far as first person shooters go and no dedicated servers is the reason I have not purchased this game, despite the fact I know a few people that own this on the PC.
