MODS - Can we have tapatalk plugin for OCUK forums?

I also think posters who post regularly (like 100 times month) should have PMs enabled :p

Tapatalk would be nice, but not needed.

I'm sure the mods and admins could update it if they wanted, I imagine they aren't for a reason.
 
I hate the skype plugin on this forum because there server reliability is just terrible, if there servers are throwing a hissie fit it makes the pages on this forum slow to load until there server catches up and sends the info that is needed, anyway back OP.... NO.
 
Why? OcUK forums work perfectly fine on my phone very easy to navigate minimum resizing needed and my phone is nothing so fancy these days.

This. I have no issues on my windows phone nor did I with my symbian 5800xm. Is there something particularly poor about iPhones which makes them really bad with forums?
 
Would prefer some kind of spoiler system. Either the ability to black out text that can be read if highlighted or one of the other systems.
 
lots of reasons why tapatalk is useful. It's quicker, its better on bandwidth (we might all have smartphones but we arent all on unlimited data) ect. forums are ok on my sgs2 but better using tapatalk.
 
Is Tapatalk something that requires a 'hack' to be enabled on the forums? If it is then that makes it somewhat unlikely it will be implemented until/unless it becomes standard functionality in a release of vB. If it isn't then I can raise it as a query although no guarantees that it would be implemented of course.
 
Possibly because it costs almost $2,000 for licences to use both android and iOS devices?

EDIT: That is if you want your own branding on it rather than theirs. As this is a store forum, I would assume that would be OcUK's preference.

Tapatalk costs you, the member, doesn't it? £2 in the UK?

I'm not sure Spie would like something that required members to pay to view the forum, quite aside from the issue of trusting a 3rd party with un-fettered access to the forum.

I see the vbulletin mobile app is live now (and not just for vbulletin's own site). Doesn't that do the same as Tapatalk?

Then there's mobile templates, there are some very (very) good ones but admittedly if data is a concern they are still going to transfer more than an app.
