MODS - Can we have tapatalk plugin for OCUK forums?

That annoys the hell out of me. No I don't want to use the app, same as the last dozen times... Ahhhhh grrrrr ahhhhhh *explodes*

The vbulletin apps are only for the vbulletin forums (i.e. their own company forums), not any forum running their software.

They've been available as the mobile suite for months, you just won't ever see them branded as the vbulletin app - it would be branded as the ocuk forums app (or whatever).

Would you be more likely to use the app if it was free (e.g. avforums) ?

I just wouldn't use an app. But why do forums advise you. It's silly, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, don't have constant pop ups going an apps available. If you want an app you look for it and download it.

I agree with the general idea that Tapatalk is an annoying 'in your face' POS. :p

Surely a mobile site would work a lot better, it can't be that hard to implement, surely.

And I really hated the old name for over a decade.

I didn't actually think that was were the inspiration came from!

But that is very cool!

I vote for glaucus all of a sudden. :D

Yeah, it's called changing the colour of the text to the forum background :p

The problem here is that not everyone has the same colour settings for the forum, and even if they did, people would never know that there was anything unless they happened to highlight it.

I also don't think the OCUK colour appears on the text colour selection chart.

Opera Mobile and the black theme on my HTC is all I need. it wraps the text to fit on screen and more importantly uses the black theme.
