I am guessing that they removed it, but the damage may already have been done, if part of the engine block had been weakened by the blanking plate, being stuck behind the safety car, just made it worse and poof, new engine please..

I wasn't taking much notice when Ted was on air so only caught part of what he said. Oh well poor old Button.

Good on the tail-enders, I don't understand the mentality that they should be expected to just roll over for the top teams, especially in qualifying.

Thsi should be a non championship event, huge prize money only. Pointless track when it's that hard to overtake a car that slow.

Why can Alonso brake so much later? Its a huge difference.
