I was thinking when they showed Senna doing a huge lock up and missing the chicane that people would point out Senna making mistakes Maldanado wouldn't.... lol

Also yeah, if he damaged his car hitting someone on purpose and if that is the cause of his car being potentially damaged or weakened..... wow, what a ****.

There are other drivers who would get kicked out of the championship for at least a year I reckon with such reckless behaviour.

Just a interesting little bit of info.

Maldonado was banned from racing in Monaco for life a few years ago for ignoring a yellow flag, hitting a marshal and breaking his back. Ban was overturned only after his father *who has a little bit of money* promised to pay for his treatment and rehabilitation.

Not saying it has anything to do with his latest numpty moment, but...

Racing in the Renault World Series in 2005, the then 25-year-old ignored yellow flags before striking and severely injuring a marshal.
Organisers of the Monaco grand prix reacted by banning Maldonado from the street circuit for life.
Germany's Bild revealed that Maldonado's wealthy father intervened, promising to pay for the marshal's recovery and rehabilitation from a broken back.
That intervention saved Maldonado's future formula one career, as no team would hire a regular driver that cannot participate in the sport's most famous race.

Just watched the onboard from Perez's car on Sky. Completely deliberate. No way was Maldonado anywhere near the racing line.

Interesting bit of footage on the BBC from the Spanish GP there of MS up to his old tricks in that clash with Hamilton in FP3, basically seemed he felt Hamilton cut across him turning into a corner so later in the lap he deliberately ran round onto the slip road to overtake him then pretty much stopped on the apex!
