A lot of comparisons are being made between the McLaren and last year's RBR, which is pretty accurate for qualifying, but I think the biggest difference is race pace rather than team mistakes. Last year, RBR could have had a cross-threaded wheel nut at every pit stop and probably still won both championships. That was the nature of their dominance.
It's not (as I posted earlier), its 500 for the team's lineage of Renault, Benetton and Toleman
Confusingly funny, but since Toleman's entry into F1 in the 80's the team in its various guises have competed in 500 races.
Tyre's are pushing everyone closer together, limiting the lead someone can build, and a very small mistake can push you back 5 places and screw your entire race now.
Did a bit of Maths as they've said that it's 500 races of the Enstone based team.
Given that they were based in Enstone from the 1993 season, they're celebrating 332 races not 500.
wtf is Maldanado doing to Perez there? got held up then decided to smack into him?
