Monaco Grand Prix 2013, Monte Carlo - Race 6/19

Hello bud, thanks.

Was there Wednesday on a parts run but flew back yesterday.

Unlucky, like you I really don't enjoy Monaco as a race but watch it anyway. should have faked some kind of injury to "miss" your flight and be unable to travel till the weekend ;)

The race is poo but I can imagine hanging around for the weekend with everyone in town to watch it being pretty awesome.

Watched a few bits of old mid 50's Monaco races, one guy going right into the water, crazy how they raced in the old days, utterly crazy. I couldn't believe how different it looked racing directly alongside the water compared to whats there now.

The Brit added that Pirelli would need to make changes to their tyres in light of next year's massive regulation overhaul, which includes a swap from 2.4-litre V8 engines to 1.6-litre turbocharged V6s.

wait, what

They're making the engines smaller again? :(

It's comedy time. :D

That's a big rebuild job for the Ferrari guys. May not see Massa in qualifying.

Sutil, not too bad, just the right side of the car. That should be ok for qualifying.

Grosjean has to go from Lotus, he's absolutely killing them, that is awful driving, I think he's got into the pit exit, then changed line to get around, then looking behind him for no reason and forgot to freaking turn.

He doesn't have the speed, I wish people wouldn't say that, he's fast because he's ignoring safety, his entire F1 career he's fast because he ignores safety, when you don't care if you're going to hit the guy infront, you'll be slightly faster through a corner, but you'll hit that guy more often than anyone else is.

I frankly see him like a video game "racer" where he just goes so fast and utterly ignores damage. His spot was under threat at Lotus, told to have less incidents, was slower through the first few races to make sure he didn't hit people, and also, you know, rubbish. Then he's faster again, and hitting people/track/mistakes all over the place again as soon as his pace increased a race or maybe two races ago. He's a completely unsafe driver, and a complete ****, and because I like Lotus he's got to go. I still can't believe Grosjean wasn't fired end of last season, joke of a driver the smash into Hamilton that almost hit ALonso's head is one of the worst incidents I've seen, insane driver.

If he's actually turned into Hamilton completely on purpose there, he should be banned from the race to be honest, he could have been watching his mirror and not spotted Hamilton. I wonder if he's turned into Hamilton to scare him for some reason, then he's watching in the mirror so he can try and cut him off as he comes round the corner as well, keeping an eye on where he was?
