Errr... F1 didn't do it.

The BBC did it. They wanted out of their contract.

The BBC doesn't want sport, they can't make money from it. They need to make money to cover the completely ridiculous £1billion move to Salford.

AGD - Agreed.... Really struggling to get into F1 for the last 2 years due to Sky. I'm not spending a small fortune for a few weekends a year.

They've already said he will be allowed to race. It was mentioned in the build up.

They still have to formally ask permission from the FIA. It's not automatically granted.

Right ok, they said it like it was already a done deal during the build up. I'm sure there won't be any opposition to letting him race.

Still, starting from the back he might as well not bother and save the engine!

Haven't heard anything why he smashed it into the wall, other than both fronts locked up and playing pinball with the barriers.
