Monaco Grand Prix 2014, Monte Carlo - Race 6/19

We have been friends a long time & as friends we have our ups & downs. Today we spoke & we're cool, still friends #noproblem

Glad they've sorted things, worse then a married couple them two! :p

I just can't see Lewis being the golden boy in the Mercedes team no matter how good he behaves or how much he wins.

Yeah you can't help but think a German manufacturer will harbour greater feels for the German driving for them.

So you think it's because he's British that Ron favoured Lewis over Alonso? Or does this stupid theory only extend to Germans? They hired Lewis because he was the best available to them and better than his team mate. They will not handicap him and favour Rosberg because of Nationality. Besides it's far more a British team than German. I really don't think the team cares which one wins, problems might come if Hamilton continues to be the **** to his team publically, but that's his doing not the teams.

This year, we are seeing a slower driver, with higher intelligence, leading the title race. It could certainly be argued that Hamlton had a DNF which hurt him in Race1

That is the ONLY reason Rosberg is in the lead of the championship. Nothing to do with intelligence, and all to do with the fact that Hamilton's car broke in the first race (a race he no doubt would have won).

At worst he would have come 2nd. So Lewis' points total is at minimum 18 down on what could have been purely due to bad luck.

Obviously there is the unknown possibility that Lewis could have failed to finish in Australia due to his own doing, but at it stands currently Rosberg is leading purely due to bad luck, and absolutely nothing to so with Rosberg "being more intelligent". To suggest otherwise is simply wrong.

I don't see anywhere in any of our posts where we mentioned Lewis being handicapped, do you? Where did you get that 'stupid theory' from?

And what does Alonso have to do with it?

Well the majority of hamilton fanboys think that rosberg yellow flagged deliberately and if, lets say, thats correct...well i wouldnt say was exactly a thick thing to do. So yes, rosberg leads the wdc due to being clever if youre in the "he did it deliberately camp".

Awaiting response...

As has already been pointed out, Rosberg leads the championship simply because Hamilton's car broke in the first race.

Makes me want to puke. I prefer the feirce rivalry. There should be no compassion between them two since either one will win the drivers championship this year.

Tbh, its all insignificant now that I know they can both ride unicycles!

Now THATS how you decide a title! :D

(Its still a less stupid idea than double points)
