If it was old Ferrari, vets name would be being removed on that in lap.
At least hammy up there, wonder if the tyres gave out due to number of laps.
It's Rics to lose, especially with his supersofts.
So will the SS strategy work? Won't the Mercs just get an undercut?
With the ultrasoft they'll stay to the back of Ricciardo, then close back up after the first pitstop with better tyres.
Ricciardo will get to attack with ultrasofts at the end, but track position is king.

Only if they get clear track, which they won't.
Its likely they will come back out among other Super Soft drivers.
I think they said he should be able to do just one stop unlike others. Not sure why though
First TAG V6 pole position
Everyone will be one stopping.
A benefit I can see is that Ricciardo can wait longer for a safety car or virtual safety car before pitting.
Ahh OK, thought I heard them talking about 2 stops for others.
First Renault V6 pole position
Did anyone watch GP2 yesterday, as mental as that was, it wasn't as mental as who I believe was David Valsecchi commentating! His voice was farrrr too high pitched!
