I've switched off, this is beyond dull. I wasnt expecting much from the race, and well it delivered that I suppose. I spent 2/3's of the race not even watching doing other things. Really need to drop the track or or change up for mat or something, I'm all for keeping as many historic tracks as possible but only where they are relevant and workable with current F1 cars.

Yeah, he had 24 seconds to Stroll behind him. A pit stop is about 21 seconds so he was reasonably safe.

Perez radio - Who did the fastest lap at the moment?

Pit - Hamilton just pitted for a set of softs and done a 12.9. Fastest lap isn't on.

Monaco on the F1 calendar is a bit like Italy in the rugby Six Nations; from a sporting perspective not really doing much but kept for other reasons; in a normal season Monaco is the glitzy race where celebs and sponsors and schmoozed by the teams; that's why its still here.
Similarly Italy get kept because the fans love an away trip to Rome; even if the sporting spectacle is usually dire.
 
Someone needs to chuck the race director in the swimming pool. The decisions to cut away from key things and show a car going over the chicane 10 laps previous was a particular highlight.
