Monarch : Legacy of Monsters

I really like it. I don't need Fast & Furious non stop action, I assume those films are like that never having seen one as I'm not a car person, as a good story is important.
 
Liked it a lot. Glad I watched all 4 films in the last few weeks. Godzilla (2014) and Skull Island (2017) are needed, imo.

I hope it doesn't turn a bit Scooby gang with the 3 young adults. Loving the time jumps. Kurt Russell was amazing. 4 new MUTOs by my count in 2 episodes.

1 negative: Shocking CGI with John Goodman at the beginning. MUTOs looked great but he lokked terrible when in motion and even standing still.

I've been doing the exact same. Just finished the Skull Island animation on Netflix - found it to be dire tbh.

Ok episode but I'm tired of the 'lets find guy x because hes missing' or 'heres a map to somewhere, lets fly/boat/canoe a million miles to this spot!' trope.
 
Laughed hard at the **** my pants scene. There’s a few scenes where I have rolled my eyes buts it’s Apple and is expected!
 
These kids need an absolute kicking. They're the most miserable scoobies ever. Cate needs to be thrown overboard primarily.

didn't the Dr lady fall to her doom at the end of the 2nd episode?

Was that a smaller Godzilla that got blasted?

Unless I am mistaken we are seeing, from a fresh perspective, what we already saw brief flashbacks to in the Godzilla movie.

Godzilla was 'younger' during the events of bikini atoll. The nuclear test kinda juiced him up sizewise. We only see one test in the films, but there were numerous tests in that area.
