Monarch : Legacy of Monsters

Theirs about 3 scenes in that episode worth watching. More intrigue of what Monarch might be up to, and map discovery. The rest could be binned off to the filler void and wouldn’t change anything. Utter total waste of time of completely unrelated flash backs purely for the sake of “ look look we put a gay in….progressive!.

One thing it does show...Kurt Russell is in a league of his own when it comes to acting. He gives everything he says gravity. They could win me back that a titan just wipes them out with a good hearty stomping.

Dear god, wtf is going on with the scooby gang focused garbage.

The show veered away from the 50's stuff, which was about the monsters and has given us backstories for kids who are so unlikeable. Stop giving us the pointless bickering with Kentaro and May - their relationship from our perspective is so poorly developed no one cares. I wanted to learn about Monarch upon watching this show and their Hollow Earth discoveries - not this CW Teen garbage as they hunt for Luke Skywal...Wren Bridge.....I mean Hiroshi.

I have to admit, I simply cannot stand either of the young female characters, they are both so damned whiney

I liked it a lot. More young Kurt Russell and less Scooby Gang then recent epsiodes.

And off course young Godzilla and old Godzilla

In the official materials he was smaller in 2014 compared to the sequels (even if it's not the easiest thing to pick out because in that film they frequently ****ed up his scale relative to things around him), so it looks like they're going for a corrected version of that height given it's set after that but before the later films.

Just me or would anyone else be quite happy for nearly all the human cast to be eaten by a Kaiju? I'm finding it difficult to have any care for them at all, Kurt Russell excepted as he's doing OK. The rest of them however...

Too much human drama, not enough giant monsters.
