It literally gives you the date and locations when it flashes back. I’ve spent half the time browsing on my phone whilst having this on and can follow it.

So you think having to remember dates that flash up along the bottom is grand and the flashbacks running out of sequence ok? Not everyone binge watches multiple episodes back to back.

This weeks episode was the weakest so far. The bar is pretty high, but it felt like not a lot happened.

The exposition is okay, it’s just a complete lack of interest in the ‘squad’ - casting, dialogue, backstories, whatever. I know it’s probably asking too much for a Godzilla spin-off to have memorable, well-written human characters though.

Who ever is playing May is a terrible actor. Shame the Titan didn’t freeze her.

That was dreadful in terms of progression. The characters are barely likeable and they introduce us to some background on them, which serves us with absolutely nothing.

The show is titled Monarch and we've still not really touched on the sodding organisation!
