Speaking of too high, is that a normal amount of gap between the top of the front tyre and the arch? It looks huge but could be the angle of the photo I guess?

Now that you've mentioned it, it does look quite high.

Any owners know if this is normal? looks like it needs 18's :D

If that is Greenhithe car centre, I live literally 3 minutes away down the main road. Ill have a look in next time I drive past ;)

The fella who runs it (Steve I think his name is) is a fairly safe guy. My dad bought a car off him a few years ago, said he's a fairly trustworthy sort of fella. Indeed, thats the same place where I test drove the Corrolla I posted about a few months back when I was looking for a first car. Dunno what I was thinking about the car, but he was very genuine. Good place to do business.

Thanks for the info :)

I think it's in Dartford 'CRAIG OUTRAM PRESTIGE' according to auto trader.

i can't see the photo as i'm at work, but the stock deos are very high indeed, at least to look at. The front arch is considerably larger than the rear but still the same shape, tricking the eye into thinking the rear is lower than the front :)

Just get it lowered and all will be reet :)

Tom.

Thats a beut! just check out the blueness on the inside, not to keen on the dash though.

Mine is broke :(

Scort.
Mine was broke as well when I bought the car (got an R Reg ST24) but I managed to get hold of a second hand one for peanuts so I fitted that and it's been good as gold so far (been on about 6 or 7 months now). It was a shame really as all that had gone with the old one was the cable had snapped but Ford seemed to think you can't buy the cables separate (although I've seen them for sale as original bits on eBay in America), so in the end I had to get a whole unit. :)

No it doesn't.

Yeah it does, fleakishly low profile for such large wheelarches don't you think? Mind you the swirly Hyundai lookalike alloys don't do it any favours either, but unless these are 15" wheels it just doesn't look right. That car looks like Michael Jordan in Asda sneakers size 7.

had you had the wheels refinished? they look a lot shinier where as mine and every st200 i've seen have a matt finish.

Tom.

Yep, they are shinier and were blue form the inside so the sides of the spokes were blue, pretty cool and a one off.
Sadly the new owner has kerbed them.

And double the price. Thats the problem with Cougars, nice car but twice as good as a Mondeo?

and 2 group's lower on insurance too

ST24 - group 16

Cougar 2.5 - group 14
