Has anyone else watched this? I've just finished the final episode and for me its up there with one of the best TV series I have ever seen. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Money_Heist

Obviously you have to try and ignore the English dubbing but its well worth the effort. A third season has just been agreed as well :cool:

Bump. Just finished the first series of this and it's great. Something very Usual Suspects about the lead male. Recommended.

First two were epic and as stated above I think one of the best TV shows I've ever watched. It was gripping through the whole thing.

Two episodes into the 3rd season and its looking pretty good!

It just gets better and better. I watched season 3 in 2 days which is unheard of for me.

I watched the first series but found it a struggle as the subtitles were just awful, so I had to go with dubbed instead which is annoying. It's a shame as otherwise it was really good. Keep meaning to give the second series a try to see if they've done a better job with the subtitles.

I've just started season 3 and they've updated the dubbing so a lot of the characters now have different voices. It's really jarring in places and ruining it for me. I associated certain voices with certain people :-/

Season 3 is still great. It seems to move at a much faster pace, which is both good and bad.

Can’t say I ever noticed the subtitles being that bad. I’d much rather have that than dubbed.

I'm just over half way through S3 with the Mrs. I love the tension in the episodes and the story is great. Love Nairobi!

Did they change the dubbing half way through S2 as well? I'm forced to watch it dubbed by Mrs dz and it was noticeable.

They re-released s01 and s02 with the new dubbing to make them consistent.

Here are a few examples I took a picture of at the time to show somebody. Its like they used Google translate and just translated everything litrerally.

Wow those are pretty jarring. Is there any chance Netflix Japan has different subtitles? I can honestly say I never noticed.

The girlfriend likes subtitles though as she sometimes finds it too fast to follow.

Another problem with the subtitles, also a problem though a lesser degree with the dubbing, is that they didn't really grasp some of the more subtle meaning interwoven into some of it using generic almost descriptive conversation or dumbed down, etc. where the original as intended exchange is quite clever. The dubbing unfortunately falls far short of some attempts like in Dark.

I did watch the first series quite a while ago, so maybe they've redone them if you watched it recently and didn't notice similar? Anyway, think I should give the 2nd series a try soon and see how I get on.

We've only been watching the last couple of months, so I imagine they have been updated since then.

I've been watching it on and off for awhile I think there has been more than one lot of changes to subtitles and voice overs but I've not really paid that much attention.

Watched series 2 episode 1 last night and subtitles seemed all good, so shall enjoy it now.
