Is it just a case od the AMD drivers still need to be optimized for this?
Or is it easier to blame Nvidia, shrugs..
Any chance you could upload the folder to share, so other AMD users could see their AMD cards performing as it should (at least to the extent of being disadvantage in a Nvidia title rather than being all-out raped)? No, the engine has pre-optimisation built into it, most engines actually have a base level of that for all vendors, AMD went a little further with Cryengine, they are AMD partners, some of the work that has been done on Crysis 3, including Global Illumination, Dynamic Shadowing, Physics.... are all built into the engine, all of it still there and used but the extensions that optimise for all vendors has 'as far as i can tell' been ripped out and replaced with crap that pretends there is only one vendor, Nvidia.
I rebuilt what i could in that, the engine. not the Drivers.
It's so ironic that what participants to this thread said was so pretty is AMD open standard technology and put there by them; seems to have been been butchered and hijacked.

As i said before, it looks to me like the engine has been butchered to take all the built in AMD optimisation out, and then there is that Green stuff.
Anywho, what can be broken can be fixed

Hmm... It doesnt actually seem that anything being removed makes a difference, this is what somebody on another forum got without any tinkering.

Looks to be just very heavily NV optimised (plus I guess AMD have not had chance to sort their own driver optimisations yet) rather than anything nefarious going on.

The problem with the result you linked is I get the same result using all 4 290Xs, (87%) this is something that does not happen with my NVidia cards which scale well and are great at 4K on this bench.
I love all the conspirators here. Nothing to do with AMD not optimising the game then and it must be someone deliberately removing dll's and other AMD goodness
A 660 beating a 290X seems about right to me
I Un-Butchured the engine. i can hear the Nvidia Police sirens wiring outside my Door!
And yet humbug's 290 with missing files restored manage to gain 50% more performance over Kaap's and my 290x. Hmmmmm....I love all the conspirators here. Nothing to do with AMD not optimising the game then and it must be someone deliberately removing dll's and other AMD goodness

good old nVidia goodness as usual!
Stunning!
Well you should not be poor then you could afford Nvidia.
Stunning....
On a serious note, Humbug can you upload what you have removed and detail what you have done as it is quite interesting and as has been said a lot of the big sites will be very interested in this.
