Well I'm ready and waiting to buy this and a random 22"/24" lcd tomorrow... better not go out of stock. It's worse than buying Spice Girls tickets... erm... ahem

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
that bootdaily review means squat. look how stupid they are:
on the left of that pic, they say higher power consumption is better. for that alone i say that site is not to be trusted.![]()
can see they like the 2900xt. classic case of fanboy run site.
In all honesty, we'd really have a hard time recommending any other card than the 8800GT for purchase at this time – not even the GTX.
And what will be the price for the 8800gt 512 mbs card?

well going by that site, the 2900xt atleast gets the victory in the powerconsumption test.
if you can call it a victory.
No, they probably just made a mistake and used the same template for the graph as they did for all the others instead of changing it to lower is better. You really don't have to read so much into little things like that![]()
They should have done proof reading something before actually publishing it.
50 squid lol
i was expecting nearer 80?
I will do my yearly upgrade 2 weeks before christmas and will buy the best video card available for around the £300 mark, I just hope the new GTX is available bye then![]()
Out of all the cards listed only 3 have setting 4 (highest) as their default.
Those cards are:
8800GTX
8800Ultra
And...
8800GT...
Anyway, 8800GT works correctly with: P965, P35, i975X i nForce 680i.
