Oh and I am not saying that people who auction off the consoles are doing wrong.

I would have done the same if given the chance because cash is cash but I just could not be bothered to q overnight anywhere for anything :D .

I am just saying that why should a store sell you a machine on its own, they have offered you a bundle if you don't like it don't buy it, learn how to say no to your kids or if the machine is for you be a little patient

I agree re the bundles. If I was running the store I would offer bundles only as well.

My eyes were lit up when I saw my e-mail titled '*Competitor* despatch notification' an hour ago...

...only to find out Wii Zedla game has been despatched! (Ordered it with Wii) :( Too good to be true I suppose!

auctioners are taking advantage of people tbh.

I know if given the choice most people would pay £300 to get the machine and a few games rather than £300 on ebay for just the console.

90% of the people who buy a console will buy a few games anyway so whats the problem.

The problem is the bundles are a bit naff, you don't save any money ecen if you split them up, actually it cost you about 5p more (the xxx.99p per item). I for one wouldn't need a bundle, already have WiiPlay, 2 nunchucks, just need the console !

Must be a lot coming in this week surely? I really want one for the christmas period and this weekend is last chance! Altho im not keen on the idea of going down at stupid o clock and queuing it could be fun

Console £180, Games are £40 each, controller £30 and nunchuck £15.
That's why it sounded expensive, everything was full RRP. The well known high street store I got mine from knocked £10 off every item bought at same time as console so games were effectively £30.

I was going to buy an extra controller and nunchuck for £45 but guy in shop told me the nunchuck isn't really used for much except 1 player games and there's one with the console so just got Wii Play with the free remote instead, that's another good saving.

Well, you're gonna need a 2nd nunchuk for boxing with a friend, as opposed to just playing single player.

Think you'll need the second nunchuck more over time. For instance, Wii Sports Boxing needs 2 sets of controls, tanks on Wii Play is better with the nunchuck, Rayman often needs both IIRC, Red Steel MP etc. I use my 2 sets a fair bit to be honest, although MP has been dead popular in my house so far.

I got my Wii for £285, which included:

£179.99 Console
£34.99 Wii Play
£39.99 Zelda
£14.99 Nunchuck

£269.96

+ Wii 1GB memory card @ £15 (not bad, not great either comparatively) and a free organiser (RRP £19.99) so the bundle wasn't bad. Didn't save me anything (well, off RRPs it did), but I didn't get anything I wouldn't have bought anyway.

There's a certain competitor based somewhere up North (in Yorkshire I think) who are shipping their 2nd lot of pre-orders today, and once these are all sorted out, they're supposed to be putting the remaining consoles for sale again. They're gonna be saying it in their forums when they'll be going on sale.

If you want to know which one I'm on about email me (in Trust) for the details.

When i get a console.....i'll have 3 nunchucks and only 2 Wiimotes....They aren't that hard to find, easier than a console definitely.

Ive got a nunchuck just sitting in the hall waiting to be returned, thought they were the easiest thing to find?
