More Wiis?

I have a feeling that for many people paying over the odds at auction is a last resort. Hence although supply might increase in the next week I think demand might too as people give up and go the auction route.
 
I admit I'm tempted if Mine comes monday to auction it, make £100 and use that money to pay for all the add on's. Might see what my wife thinks as it's her prezzie :D

Do it :) The worst that can happen in that you don't get another in time for Xmas and she spends the next 50 years telling everyone "one year he sold my Xmas present at auction and I never got a pressie, well not the one I wanted..."

Does she know when it's supposed to arrive? If not, do it and blame the shop for not getting it to you in time for xmas if it does all go Pete Tong ;)
 
She's been looking for one herself in the supermarkets. I've been telling her the one I ordered won't be making it til after xmas. I've bought myself sometime that way. I will check the auction prices on the day i get it, see what they are like and go your route rob with the buy it now.

I do feel a bit guilty as she has just returned from town with R6 for me :D

To be honest mate, if thats what she really wants then Id just keep hold of it. By the time you make £100, take off fees, postage hassle etc etc and if the prices drop there really wont be much in it.

Unless the prices go up, just make her day :)

But if you do keep it, make sure she still thinks you dont have one ;)
 
If you want my advice don't bother auctioning it. my auction ended at £310 to a zero feedback bidder, completely ruined it. Not to mention the £10 final value fee?!

Seriously wish I hadn't bothered now.

Mine finished at £501. Not bad for a £179.99 outlay.
 
ive justed payed 130 pounds for an Wii and 2 games steel and COD3,i think its good all brand new,feel sorry for all those people that payed more! ah well SUCKERS. :eek:
 
There are some big batches coming in mid week next week (getting 90 instore on weds with another batch on fri) and the Own brand componant cables that the company I work for sell are getting Rave review on the Avforums (not bad for £20)
 
A certain big game store fullfilled their 2nd batch of pre-orders today, they phoned me at 2:30 this afternoon with mine :)

Gutted as it's sat under the tree wrapped as it my little lads for xmas, had to wrap it as I knew me and the missus would have been up all night 'testing it' it otherwise :D

I'm intrigued... I presume you work in a games shop and had a staff discount, to get this price? Or is the box slightly damaged, where it has fallen off the back of a lorry?

ps - it's 'paid' not 'payed' :rolleyes:

Yeah hers has just this minute been delivered. I've decided to keep it for her. She's been a good girl this year ;) and she's a bit down as our house purchase fell through on saturday.

Hopefully this will cheer her up while we are homeless.

So she doesn't think she has one I'm gonna pretend to keep looking right up until xmas eve.

Stoopid question time. Does this have a scart connector in the box? I can only see on the contents a RF connector. Dont wanna open it up for a look.

It has a composite cable (red, white and yellow) with a scart adapter.
