Most arrogant profession?

^^ Yes mr Social skills, you have the skillset to work with clients and the crap that comes with that and then still be able to stand your ground on a technical playing field and deal with people like you on a daily basis!

Hmm I'd echo the main sentiment; assistants for exclusive goods or services. Not always, but reasonably frequent. I don't mind, though. I am attracted to arrogance.

Jaysus. Suprisingly large amount of hate for doctors in this thread. I might as well not apply to study medicine :p

Don't let it put you off studying medicine, it is a fantastic profession to go into! Just try to remember that you are still just a university student like everyone else. You are not a God (Which a lot of them think they are), and you are not better than anyone else, and you'll do great!

(Not saying this is how you are, just observations of med students I've had run-ins with).

You're weirdly right, there's nothing more satisfying than hanging out the back of a hot arrogant bird.

Have to agree with doctor's receptionists... ours is an absolute cow! Additionally, agree on the sales assistants in certain shops - some verge on obsequious while others genuinely act like they're doing you a favour even though they probably get paid in a year what you're just about to blow on a bag...

Selfridges sales assistant.

especially around the suits and hand bags areas.

my fiancee used to browse them and not even get a hello, but she now she has a mulberry bag they are all over her showing her new bags that just come in etc.
