Most arrogant profession?

I don't mind arrogant people who have earned the right to be arrogant. However, if I'm in Hollister or an Audi showroom and there is an arrogant person serving me, I could just laugh in their face for a number of reasons.

Police, Teachers and pretty much anyone with some sort of authority over a lot of people/kids. Every time a Police man stops me it always ends up in an argument and him saying 'Did you study law for 3 years?' and my reply is always 'No, but there is a website called legalisation.gov.uk which means I don't have to. Most policemen don't even know the laws themselves and quite a few make them up as they go along. Especially when dealing with adolescents minding their own business.
Also annoys me that they can't have any fun even when stopping you for no reason at all.

Police(sorry to any plods on here but the majority of people doing your job[well in Thames Valley at least] are arrogant Jobsworths)

Strange all the police I have come across have been helpful and polite, spouse it says about the location and the way people are, grim darn sarf.

I think I remember a comedian doing a part on that. I would link you but it has swearing in it.

It's certainly not my creation - couldn't tell you the source though or I'd reference too! :)

I'M A WEEKEND SOLDIER AND THE WORLD IS SCARED OF ME! I'VE FOUGHT A MILLION BATTLES AND I'M ALWAYS HOME IN TIME FOR TEA!

Billy Connolly - Weekend Soldier. It's up on Youtube. T'is great.

Medical Students.

This! 1000x this! They really are arrogance personified until they actually arrive on placement, then they become like lost puppies!

I have to say, from experience, I find that Surgeons are quite arrogant.
The Doctors/Consultants where I work are not in the least bit arrogant, they are all professional and highly approachable.
