Are we open to non-desktop cable mess? My retro console cupboard/sideboard is in a complete state and this would definitely give me incentive to address it :D Will grab a photo later just so you can all publicly shame me either way :p
 
Picture incoming when I get home! My current setup is an absolute disaster and having previously worked in the structured cabling industry, I'm eager to see how these actually hold up against established products from Excel, Minitran etc.

Forgive me NikTheSHNIK for I have brought your holy house of managed cables much shame. I have also inadvertently brought this thread shame in the quality of these photos! If my sins are forgiven I'll get better before/afters :p

Edit: The terrible photos bugged me, just took photos with flash on this time and it's at least a little better :D

Proper cable management would go a long way! I could also draw some comparisons to industrial grade cable management, which might be useful for some.

The one reason i don't use them super sticky adhesive tie wrap backs are they not only take paint when you remove them, They usually take a few mm of plaster too. Use them at work and iv ripped veneer off using them and adding far too much weight onto them. Can i ask if thats what your missing paint patch was caused by?
