Ok so were to begin

Cable Tube
Okay, So i was sceptical as im sure many are saying how much for a piece of tube? But if you have ever had the sad experience dealing with the plastic spiral wrap you will truly appreciate how good this cable tube is. It does indeed wrap around even with chunky power cables in. You don't even need to remove cables to do this they can be done in situ. 2m of black is enough to do one pc lot if your desk isnt too large. As a sparky ill highly rate this and wish my employers used this over our poor plastic/mesh wrap.
Label kit (Mini)
Really good actually iv used tons of label setups through work and this works quite well. Only one comment would be the length of the spare. Though it can be cut off the rounded end looks quite nice
Wall
Seem to hold without being overly grippy. Freshly painted wall here so didn't want to push my luck but i dare say these won't rip off paint or plaster
Basic
Simple re-useable tie wrap style wraps. Good at what they do as always have been
Roll
Now iv never used anything like this before but its actually great. Goes round legs of desk, Monitor arm mount, round anything really. Ill be using all of this wrapping up spare usb cables, headphone wires, chargers etc. Its good stuff

Also except the wall mount bits everything you can buy here is 100% re-useable providing you cut the roll and cable tubes to a good length so you can make use of it repeatedly.

Now for the finished photos.

(I can possibly do a better job of this one once my other speakers return from rma)

Nik was a gent and sent a ton of all of the above in various colours. Iv enough to sort my living room cabling/amp mess also which i shall be doing shortly.
Also the haribo, Excellent addition to the box :D
Thanks to Nik & Overclockers for this, Iv had fun tidying my mess oddly

Great job and review. Thanks!

I'm late to the thread but I've had something similar but in hard plastic for some years. This looks like it would make changing things around much easier.

Coming out of the back of my PC I have three monitor cables, an optical cable, the power cable, two network cables, and six USB cables. I have cable trays under my desk and cable ties and velcro wraps abound. As a former PC technician, tidy cables are a real boon, so I'm glad OCUK are stocking this stuff. One thing I haven't done is label all the cables - I remember asking OCUK about different coloured Displayport cables a while back - so I'm interested in their longevity. Previously I've used ordinary sticky labels or Dymo labels and they tend not to last or get dirty or both. Tags are useless as they slide down the cable.

Will you be producing a standard cable tidy kit for your PC bundles?

Sorry my review took so long i was busy eating the Haribo :p

My thoughts.

i used the wall white to attach my power strip cable to my painted skirting board and these are great. seems to hold solid.
sadly the black ones i used on the back of my desk but unfortunately they peeled away .
(NOTE: this is not a fault with the wall blacks , its a cheap desk and the wood covering is shoddy...had it had been a half decent desk im sure there wouldnt have been a problem.)

I used the black cable tube for the cables coming from the PC and although these seem a little pricey , once you actually use them you realise why ...feels quality and makes the job so much easier and theres quite a bit of it too ( i had to cut away well over half of it as there would have been way too much.)

I used the LTC Roll to loop the wires from my monitor along the monitor table stand and down to the back of the table. I also used this to combine all the smaller cables coming from the PC together before placing them in the LTC tubing.

Something i had been meaning to do for a while was to label all my plugs entering the power socket as it makes it so much easier to pull the right plug rather than following the lead back to make sure you have the right one.... the LTC Mini Whites made this so easy to do and the protective cover will prevent fading over time too.

All in all , some very nice products and have certainly helped to sort out that monstrosity of wrapped and tangled cabling wedged behind my desk.

Just want to thank Nik and the guys over at Overclockers for giving me the chance to review these products , im going to attack my TV/Media next when i get the time !.

What do the guiys who've already used these products would be best in a bundle. What did you find most useful? I'll make a bundle of the products and make it available to buy as a unit.

No problem mate, thanks for the great feedback :)

What do the guiys who've already used these products would be best in a bundle. What did you find most useful? I'll make a bundle of the products and make it available to buy as a unit.

I'm not really the best person to ask as someone with three monitors etc and a former professional. I think you should analyse your sales and work from there. That said, as a bundle for a PC system I'd like:

  • 4 metres of Cord Cover: 2 or 3 metres from PC to monitor - check the length of monitor cable the customer buys - and 1 metre from monitor to keyboard and mouse. If the buyer has ordered a 5 metre video cable then you should supply a 5 metre cord cover. Yes, I know the product you currently sell is in 2 metre rolls. The big problem here is that this product costs vastly more than similar products from your competitors. (Do a search on 'cable management sleeve' on Amazon, for instance.)
  • I'd split the packs of Pro Wall adhesive cable fasteners into packs of 5. You can buy packets of 50 or more of similar stuff for single cables - likely the network cable between the router and PC - from Amazon & the like for not a lot of money. So you want just enough to be useful around the PC. For example, clamping cables to the back of the desk.
  • 1 box of Cable Management Ties with labels.
  • 3 metres of Tape Roll is a bit generous; 1 metre is a bit too parsimonious. It's better to be generous than for the customer to find they need more. (The 25m Pro Roll is a good quantity for the professional).
  • 10 of the separate black cable management ties is overkill for the typical consumer, especially as you're already supplying a box of ones with labels and the tape roll. Maybe a couple.

Cable management is going to be very much an afterthought for the average buyer until after the event, so you need to price the bundle temptingly low - say a tenner for a basic pack, but only with the purchase of a qualifying product.

Given the prices of the parts on your website I'm struggling to see how you can bundle all that for a price which the ordinary purchaser will be prepared to pay and still give you a profit, but I suspect that most of the items cost pennies to produce and much of the cost is in the packaging and delivery, which you should be able to obviate by buying in bulk without packaging.

LTC Cable sleeve
LTC roll
LTC Mini lables

........ and Haribo :p

Echo the above but would probably also add in an option of ltc wall instead of labels. But yeah roll and sleeve for sure

Just moved house like a week ago and just rebuilt my PC with added 4k monitor... and there are cables everywhere, can't believe I missed this! Would have been a perfect opportunity to give em a good show!
