Hostel I can understand, but i've got the uncut version of CH, but I couldn't say Ichi was tame compared

Let me guess, you hated Blair Witch Project didn't you ;)

Not seen BW, it looked carp. It was the uncut version of CH I watched, knowing the animals were eaten afterwards kind of made it all right.

I've got August Underground's Mordum to watch next.

BW has a similar pacing I felt, though it was obvious that it tired to up the tension. The scenario is similar though, people go into woods to film something that westerners would find terrifying, most of it filmed documentary style.

Guinea Pig: Flower of Flesh and Blood

Watched this a few years back, found itpretty disturbing at the time.

Resurrecting this thread to say that...

The Last House on the Left is undoubtably the most shocking, violent and disturbing movie ever made. Surprised it hasn't already been mentioned (well, I couldn't see it).
LHOTL is just plain rubbish. Laughable in fact.

Flesh Meat Doll (aka Psycho: The Snuff Reels) is worth a watch.

Subconcious Cruelty's got some pretty weird stuff in it.

lhotl the origianal o rthe remake. OG is *****D up

The Toolbox Murders is one of the most shocking and disturbing films I have seen for a while.

I watched Scum last night (:()

I don't think a film has make me feel sick in a while, the fight's (or attacks) between the inmates didn't make me feel this way, infact, I expected them to be there. But the male rape scene, and then night of the suicide really disturbed me.

hostel is also rubbish, big dissapointment, althought a few good scenes of nude girls, but hardly a shocking film

It is horrific / violent / gory and shocking to some people.

I don't know how it compares to some of the horrors in this thread, but I saw a film called Kids recently. Not especially violent or gory but very disturbing.
