Most hours clocked up in a game and why?

577 Hr in CS:S, I had a pretty bad computer so it was the only thing I could run, and i got pretty good at it. My friends decided to go competitive but I decided to pull out because I didn't want to get involved, then I found the other side of counter strike, the community made stuff, jailbreak, surf, etc. I still come back to CS:S to play a few games, i'm not too shabby :)
 
A few months ago my highest game was Fallout 3 at nearly 200 hours. I started playing DayZ about 3 months ago and already have 350 hours clocked up, I'm utterly addicted.

This morning I woke up at 5am just so I could get in some looting an hour before getting ready for work while the server was quiet. I'll know I've crossed the line when I quit my job, disown the kids and get a divorse, but until then it's all good :D
 
10 years playing wow...for a crazy amount of hours. All done and dusted now.

Would love to play something similar that didnt require the hours that wow does.
 
An unhealthy number of hours on counterstrike before source.

Now, around 250hrs Dota 2, probably around the same for HoN and 200ish on Civ V. Nothing spectacular
 
Lost countless hours online with the original Unreal Tournament from its UK release until ~2005, even now I still run it every now and again from Steam. Opened my eyes to internet gaming and the desire to get broadband at home from 2001.
 
Over 400 hours in Skyrim:o

I tend to play the same games over and over again though. Not in to MMOs or any kind of online FPS.

Final fantasy 7 and 8 over the years can't be far off either.
 
About 850 hours on BC2 and an unquantifiable amount on MOHAA.

I dread to think what that must have been, but probably well over 1000. I loved that game.

Both were because I was playing with a good gaming community of regulars, voice coms and everything. Good times.
 
I spent from Nov 2003 to Aug 2010 playing SWG. Played it every night, every weekend, took days off work to play. Only knows how many hrs I spent playing it.

Literally hardly played another game in all this time.

It ended all so depressingly :(
 
Morrowind without a doubt, When I was a kid the only games I had played was Soldier of Fortune, Quake & Runescape, so when I found what was basically Runescape in single player form I was blown away, it was my first RPG and I put a few thousand hours into it on the Xbox, and then I got it on PC... By the time I was bored on PC, the Xbox had felt like an age ago, so I worry to think how many hows in total Morrowind has had from me.

207 hours on Borderlands 2 because it's Borderlands 2.

Though that seems like nothing compared to others on here :o
 
My WoW account had over 500 days combined from all my characters, so over 12,000 hours. Next in line I'd say EverQuest probably in the range of about 8,000. After that, Diablo 3 at 1,050 ish and Civilization 5 at 760.
