MOT Failure Statistics - released by VOSA as a result of FOI request

I think that is very useful info if looking at the older cars, it shows which cars will keep on working fine ( the CO emissions test kinda proves that the engine isn't on it's last legs, the rust requirements show that it won't fall apart very soon while driving and the brake requirements means it will stop for a while still) without wasting money on maintenance on them.

If those results are to be believed, in 2007 there were on ~ 400 DC5's MOT'd in the UK. Since importers stopped shipping them last year, that's quite a small number of them in the UK!

Why have importers stopped shipping them? Lum managed to import a 1993 Nissan and you are saying there wont be any more DC5's shipped over

Model report probably ran out, they are specific to certain model years. The SVA system changed also, now IVA.

In fact, there re 3 different IVA model reports available for DC5's, can't see any reason why you couldn't register one.
