MOTOGP 2015

Really good slow Mo , you can see Rossi never kicked him, you can see the leg only came off the peg after mm93 went down

Rossi stuck his knee out and that was it.

Everything that has been said by Honda is wrong, however Rossi has stated that the handlebar (brake lever?) dug into his thigh... so could this be what Honda describe as Rossi kicking Marquez?

Must have been the bar, as the Brake lever has a guard to stop the brake catching another riders handle bar or parts of the body.
That's why the guard was a mandatory fitment to all racing bike a few years ago

I'm all for proof videos and confident that Rossi didn't kick him off but why are there frames missing between 46 and 47?
It does seem to skip a little...

However I've seen so many videos at different angles and speeds, and not one of them show Rossi's foot touch the Honda or Marquez, just his knee pushing Marquez out wide (like every other rider would do, and have done in the past)

I'm still surprised how many people are blaming the incident 100% on MM. As if he'd planned to get Rossi to push him wide. Maybe this is just the die hard Rossi fans thoughs, and that's got to be expected unfortunitely.

Rossi definitely didn't kick out at MM, but he was the one that forced him out wide, even admitting it was on purpose. The punishment given to him was based on his actions ending another riders race.

I believe MM was trying to hold VR up, but probably only because of VR's earlier comments on the Thursday. Should he be punished for that? I don't think so, unless any of his riding was dangerous, or he'd knocked another rider off track, which he didn't. The racing was good to that point and I was enjoying it.

I still think Rossi has a chance of winning the title. I'm not sure if i'll be happy if he does win. But if he does win this weekend, overall for the year he probably does deserve to be champion for his riding, He's been by far the most consistant all year. He's been lucky that MM, JL and DP, have all had bad/unconsistant years, but you can only beat the rides around you and he's done that this year.

I think I'm most disappointed about Rossi using his power to turn a large proportion of supporters against MM, than his move knocking him off, but do accept MM should have handle it better.

Looking forward to a good race this weekend, hopefully no more drama like this though. Be good to see a wet race to spice it up, with Rossi and Lorenzo fighting for position and the championship at the end of the race.

Oooops there you go, you dropped your glasses for watching videos

seriously?

:o

Since when did a knee become a kick?
All I've seen in videos is a knee protruding into Marquez not a foot.

kick
verb /kɪk/
to hit or move something or someone with your foot

The boys were kicking a ball around.

to move your feet and legs forwards or backwards quickly

The baby lay kicking on the mat.

The incident is the fault of both of them, Firstly Rossi shouldn't have reacted as he did and secondly Marquez shouldn't have provoked the whole thing because of a comment before the race...

Is Rossi to blame? is Marquez? 50-50? difficult to say, Rossi lost his cool and lashed out, so yes Rossi was wrong. But Marquez had touched Rossi more than once in the race leading up to the incident.

The punishment is a tough one, if this was any other race of the year it wouldn't matter, but it was leading into the title-deciding final race of the year. every race riders are fighting to win, be it the race or the championship, so you can imagine the stress and frustration in the Rossi camp for possibly losing the title so close to the end, and because of something stupid. in the Lorenzo camp it's probably no party either, knowing that he has to finish ahead of Rossi, Regardless of where Rossi starts, you'd have to be fearful, Would Lorenzo be celebrating the fact that Rossi will start from the back? I doubt it. regardless of how much of a jumped up little Spaniard he his... he's cocky but not that cocky...
