MOTOGP 2015

So Lin Jarvis and Team Yamaha are not very happy with WhoreGay and his comments at the post press conference, demanding disqualification and antics on the podium (thumbs down when Rossi got his trophy and stormed off with the strop)

They're even talking about ending his contract early.

It's in Portuguese but apparently not a site for stirring BS.

Lorenzo got the ride as a rookie against Rossi, took ever inch of knowledge he could from him, then demanded a wall in the garage after some petty argument with Rossi...

I hope he does got to another team, make him learn al over again, the guy is too cocky for his own good.

The last race is going to be epic. Will Lorenzo just coast round to win the champ?
Will other riders get in the way of Rossi moving up?
Hopefully no one will help anyone else, and everyone will race properly, However, we all know it's going to be a hell of a battle...

There will be a secret pact, excluding Lorenzo and Marquez, where everyone else will pause at the race start to let Rossi through to third.;)

The only secret pact I can see happen is a Spanish 1.2.3. :(

Yes I thought that too... Vinales would be a perfect match...

Yamaha prefer Rossi to WhoreGay as he sells them a lot more motorcycles. So they'll side with Rossi over this. It's the reason they're in this championship after all. Bottom dollar !!!

So for WhoreGay to throw him and Yamaha under the bus, i can see completely why his contract is now on the line ! Shoulda just kept his mouth shut and not use it as an opportunity to try and worm his way to the title.

MM93 has been called out as a dirty not to be trusted competitor. He'll probably lose half his fanbase as a result of this.. And well VR has shown he can buckle under pressure. He is Italian after all, and lets be honest here, Italians arn't exactly known for not being temperamental. He may lose a small percentage of fans, but with the mass exodus from JL and MM, they'll probably go to him or Pedrosa anyway... Or the new contender who'll take WhoreGay's ride next yr (one can only hope)
Rossi saved / reinvented Yamaha. Leaving Honda as he did to go to Yamaha and taking Burgess with him was all Rossi's doing, he engineered the move and proceeded to bring Yamaha back to the front of the grid.

Win his first race and title for Yamaha in his first year with them...

Watch the clip of that incident that starts about 10 seconds earlier and you'll see Rossi look over at Marquez twice while changing his bike's line in the corner to run wide and squeeze Marquez off the track.

Rossi would have been black flagged for that and sent packing at even the lowliest club meeting in the UK.

I've seen the clip a few times and it's as Rossi has admitted, he was pushing Marquez to the side, just like anybody else would do or has done...

In the past and present ever rider has pushed someone out to the dusty edge more than once... Rarely has the rider fallen...

It still looks to me as though Marquez admits defeat when he touches Rossi's leg and let's the bike go to the ground. He didn't have the reaction of a angry annoyed rider when he got back to the pits... most riders would be fumed and shouting getting off the bike... ;)

Some cynics might say that it was MM's decision to engineer the fall, knowing full well that VR would be severely reprimanded, thus effectively ruining his Championship. Is it plausible to think that such an event could actually happen? I doubt it, but everyone was so adamant that Rossi kicked out, and made him fall.

If Marquez had not fallen, it would have been a slap on the wrist for both of them, and we would be going to Valencia with VR having every chance of securing the 10th title. But that is the chance you take. There is no doubt in my mind that MM fell because of his own actions, though this was due to VR giving him the opportunity to do so.

I do hope that both Ryder and Huewen make an apology for their outbursts, as Rossi was already guilty of kicking MM before they even had a chance to look at all the evidence. Poor broadcasting from both of them. Perhaps it's now time to bring in Moody and Nick Harris for these two plums?

I think everyone lost in this race!

Lorenzo: bawling at race direction, after overtaking on a yellow flag and storming off the podium. And most likely upsetting his own Factory.
Rossi: deliberately slowing down to push a rider to the outside of the racing line
Marquez: letting Lorenzo through and then trying to tangle up Rossi to control the WC outcome
Dorna: lame ending to a brilliant season, quite possible early retirement of a legendary rider who brings a large chunk of income
Repsol: still accusing Rossi of kicking Marquez off in press release despite proved to the contrary

Was a great race to watch up until the incident, what about the fallout though!

Well when thrush leaves, I would like to see Bradley Smith on the Yamaha M1, He has been very good this year, slowly getting better and better in every race and quietly getting on with work, keeping his head down and putting in effort time and time again.

The little ginger is NOT factory M1 material.

Name me one championship he's won ?

I think they'd be better off getting Rins, Zarco, Vinales, Olivera, Kent in 2017 depending on how he does in 2016, or Quartararo in 2017. As that kid is going to be the next Rossi.

Nick Harris you got to be joking, he talks the same now as he did in the 80s, just the names of the riders have changed, his scrip is always the same

Yes Nick Harris wouldn't be my choice. Nice enough guy, but his voice grates a little.

The IMHO best commentators are

Toby Moody
Gavin Emmett
Julian Ryder
Matt Bird
& Dylan Grey for technical analysis.

Since Gavin Emmett left Dorna for BT Sport, Nick has taken numero uno position as head commentator now on the official feed.

Where's Toby Moody these days? I'm in the US so unaware of what goes on in Europe in terms of commentary. But he's always been my favorite. Adds a lot to the sport. I hope he's working somewhere good.

Rossi got a penalty for pushing another rider off the track, it was deserved, why blame everyone else apart from the rider who did the crime!

What happened prior the race is irrelevant, Rossi should have just got on with it and he would still be in with a good chance of the title.
Everyone moaning about Marquez should look back at some of Rossi's antics in the past, he was no angel either.

Rossi is a legend, we all know that but he is letting this spat with Marquez get into his head even though it has not cost him a single point up until he lost it in the race.

Except it was costing him.. The lap times do not lie.. Rossi / Jarvis and everyone who knows anything about MotoGP, knows MM93 purposely played dirty to get back at Rossi. That's why the whole internet is ablaze with pics of MM93 being a homo and bum chumming his WhoreGay friend.

All Rossi wanted was a fair fight with WhoreGay, which he was denied at the hands of MM93. Yes he shouldn't of lost it. But personally I'd of kicked him off his bike too ! (even though Rossi didn't actually properly kick him off) There's only so much someone can take, when they're personally attacking you... This whole thing reminds me a bit like when Zidane during the world cup FINAL when he headbutted Materazzi.

Basically provoked into it. Should Zidane / rossi of reacted? No, but its hard when someone is poking at you. At the end of the day he'll still be the people's champion, and no-one will cheer when WhoreGay lifts the title.. Hopefully he'll get the strop at everyone booing and walk off, get fired by Yamaha, and with a bit of luck get dumped by his boyfriend.

If Rossi had n't kicked off in the week about Marquez apparently trying to ruin his championship then I doubt any of this would have happened so again, Rossi brought it on himself.

Marquez has not helped anyone, he took points off Lorenzo at times when, if he really was helping him, he would n't have passed.

Rossi did n't have the pace of Pedrosa or Lorenzo even after he was clear of Marquez, third was the best he was ever going to get that race.

This article sums it up very well -

I doubt you will agree with any of it but that is the way it is in my opinion, Rossi fans need to get over it and realise what he did was wrong.

Where were the personal attacks? Was Marquez giving Rossi some 'Your Mum' jokes when they were side-by-side?

The article Drukk linked to is pretty much spot on, in my opinion.

You're right it did backfire. Any normal rider would have thought shoot, i've been caught out...Not go straight back and engage in a ding dong to ruin Rossi's chances of picking up the title.

Eitherway, had Rossi not of said anything, he'd of done it anyway, so Rossi pushed into a corner, had no choice but to call him out.. It was either its going to upset him and he'll not do it, or it'll upset him and he'll CONTINUE to do it. Marquez chose the latter, and now his reputation is in ruins.

I sure wouldn't like fag pics of me all over the internet. Any MotoGP forum i visit apart from this one, are all up in arms and all against WhoreGay and MM93. So even if Rossi doesn't go down in history as the 2015 MotoGP Champion, he'll still go down as the people's champion, and MM93 will go down as the scrawny brat dirty racer that he is..

WhoreGay a stroppy bout to be fired homo.

Good grief , really ????? Keep taking the medication , you really need it :rolleyes:

The flag was raised just after they went past the marshall as clarified by race direction. The text linked to by the-evaluator below -

There is no infringement of the yellow flag with Lorenzo’s pass on Rossi. It took a long time for us to find the video clip because there was no marshal report (because there was no infringement).
Now I have the CCTV video, it shows Lorenzo passing Valentino into Turn 1 with no yellow flags. After the pass is completed a rider behind them makes a mistake on braking and runs wide into Turn 1, the marshal lifts the yellow flag and when he sees that the rider does not go into the gravel or crash he drops the flag again.

The still photo we have all seen shows the flag just as it has been raised, both JL and VR are past the flag point and it definitely was not displayed when the pass was made. The flag was up for about 3 seconds only, the marshal was a bit too keen and raised it because it looked like a crash might happen, only to drop it when the rider recovered on track.

Incidentally, the same flag was raised 10 seconds later when Baz crashed, but by then all the lead riders were well past this point.
