they wasn't really any rules in the old regs, but this year they added some rules about width/thickness/profile etc to stop the teams getting out of hand.
no talk of banning them in the top class, just the ban in the 2 lower classes.

Good first race having 3 manufacturers mixing it all race! Tyres seem like a big change, but can't see them being as entertaining as last years end of races. Although will see when it gets toasty!

Brad did say he was told back in feb he wasn't going to be at Tech3.
so has had time to sort this out.

Apparently KTM approached Smith in December, so they've been working on the deal for some time. Maybe the push from Tech 3 helped his decision, but he must have known he wasn't ever going to get a top factory ride.

Going to KTM is a risk, but there is a chance that they'll make a good bike, but it's more likely that they'll be fighting for top 10 finishes on average if things go decently for them.

No, they all have to run the Same ECU's now and Cal got the latest reverse running RC213V motor at the last race
