MotoGP 2021

No idea on the Vinales thing...

As for the thread I don't think that many people watch it, I do but I'm also often days/weeks late so try to avoid any threads/news (although almost always end up finding out the winner beforehand). Been some good racing this season though across all the classes, enjoying it :)

Yeah same, its usually the following Wednesday evening by the time I get round to watching it after catching up with the rest of the weekends sport.

Agree, been brilliant again this season and championship still wide open. Marquez testing this week :)

Not looked into the sprint race details next year but may be ok, WSBK have 3 races a weekend including a short/sprint race and that works ok imo...

Yeah that was proper racing, defiantly the best race of the year. Advantage Pecco now, Fabio has to hope he gets a DNF or the championship is heading to Italy. Yamaha need to step up in 2023 as Fabio is clearly riding beyond the bikes capabilities and it's showing. That Ducati is a monster now.

Yamaha have hired a few of the Engine techs from Suzuki. A couple of years ago the Suzuki was way down on power too but last year and this year it's nearly as good as the Ducati's. It'll be interesting if they can give the Yamaha a bit more power without sacrificing it's better qualities.

Also Agreed, was great to see if a little shame for Fabio but like @Colonel_Klinck says he's clearly just having to push the limits too far to keep up, same as Rea (and Toprak) in WSBK...

Didn't they test it recently and Fabio was quite happy but also said more is needed, be good if they can, just need to wait and see...

Great last race to finish the season off. Won't spoil it for anyone that hasn't watched it yet but trading paint in the last race is just what you want to see.

Testing starts tomorrow and it being shown on BT Sport. Will be interesting to see how Jack gets on on the KTM and the Suzuki boys take to the Honda.

I think the sprint race thing is stupid. A few sprint races in the season would probably be OK, but for there to be a sprint race at every race weekend is wrong.

Yeah it's just becoming fashionable now to change things for the sake of it. Lame.

Quartararo said: “I think it's totally stupid. I'm not the one who makes decisions about race formats, but I think we're entering a totally stupid format. If we do it from time to time, like in Formula 1, I think it can be interesting, but every Saturday...
“Honestly, there are circuits where you are physically exhausted, like Assen, Mugello. When we finish the race, we are exhausted. Honestly, I don't think it's right to do this without asking the riders' opinions. Or at least I wasn't asked.”
According to Dorna Sports, the FIM and the International Race Teams Association, the proposal was unanimously backed by teams.

Its a short race and replaces free practice 4. Maybe they should have made the result count to grid spots for Sunday race. That would have made it far more competitive. As it stands there isn't much of a reason to push if you are outside the points
