MotoGP 2021

Anyone still watching in 2022? I think the fact we don't even have a thread - unless I'm blind - says a lot. For me it's the first season I won't be since about 2000. Just nobody left in it I follow or like really. With Rossi gone it feels so empty.

Lost interest, especially when Rossi was on a lesser bike. Bit sad really. Only rider that I followed (alongside Rossi) was Marco Simoncelli :(

Nope. Was going to tune into Qatar (was it?) then when I realised I was an hour early, I just decided to do something else.

Not really watched it since 2020, and not fussed about it really.

This is the first season I've been subscribed to since it was last on BBC2. I quite like Jack Miller. Listened to a few interviews of him on Youtube.

It's not the bike that was the problem for Rossi, he was getting spanked whilst riding still full factory machinery.

Age caught up? 43 vs 23 - 27 year olds.

It must be so demoralizing when you're trying your hardest for fitness and technique/race pace to find your body can no longer compete against the younger ones. Let alone the injuries that take longer as you're older.

How that man is alive is a miracle. He's truly made of rubber.

Interesting race, surprised Baby Binder did so well, even beating his brother. That's gonna be an interesting conversation at the dinner table.

Loads of wobbles, amazed we didn't see more offs in that weather. Just a shame that the locals were outpriced, the track surface wasn't optimal and the race was shortened. Certainly made for some interesting strategies, I just hope they sort out the pricing next year and resurface the track.

Oh and I don't think I'll be getting up so early next time either :p

Baby binder didn't beat his brother? Great race though. Commanding from olivera. Hope bagnaia sorts himself out and gets up the front as he had some great battles last year.

To finish 6th after that hideous start is a cracking result.

Superb race by Bastianini. I thought this was going to be a win for Jack Miller after MM's start. Great result for Alex Rins too.

its actually scary when you consider how bad the rest of the Hondas where going around there :p

Rins must have been so frustrated just getting blasted on the straights by ducatis lap after lap.
